Sport surface details: SSUK Pulastic Elite Comfort 20 One (UNO 32) is the truly multi-functional sports surface. The system is a European Market Leader with extensive installation throughout the world and provides a high level of play for basketball, volleyball and multi sport use, with excellent wear and damage resistance.
Applied as a self-levelling liquid onto a 15mm Special T & G Birch Plywood & Foam under-carriage. The surface offers good rebound and shock absorption qualities, with a comfortable, yet firm grip, and reduced light reflection due to the final application of matt coat.
One of the main features of this seamless system is the high elasticity of the surface coating; this offers an unequalled advantage over other similar products on the market in terms of the resistance to damage from mechanical loads. Chair legs, bleacher seating, dropped weights and small wheeled trolleys present few problems, since the material recovers quickly after deformation. This feature allows the sports hall to be used for many other functions, such as examinations, exhibitions, concerts, discos and dances.
The Floor system is approved by most of the World Sports Body Associations including the All England Netball Association, FIBA, Badminton England, World Badminton Association, FIVB (Volleyball)

Great to be working with the Mumbai Cricket Association –Â one of the largest cricket academies in India.
Established in 1930 Mumbai Cricket Academy is the governing body for cricket in Mumbai, Greater Mumbai and Thane districts.
SSUK first supplied and installed Uni-Turf in 2007 and was delighted to be invited back in 2022, 15 years later, to uplift the old floor and supply and install a new 1047 sqm 7 Cricket Lane Indoor Academy, with 12 mm Bowlers Shock Pads, Spin and Seam pads.
Since its arrival in the UK in 1972, SSUK Uni-Turfs high quality embossed vinyl sheet material has gained worldwide acceptance as an excellent surface for sports halls, cricket schools, tennis centres and athletics halls.
Mainly due to it being an extremely hard wearing floor and very easy to care for. SSUK Uni-Turf is also resilient to damage by outdoor shoes, chair legs and bleacher wheels and it comes with a 5 year guarantee as standard with many of the facilities get upwards of a 20 year lifespan from their floor.

One of our first projects of 2021 complete, an old Granwood floor transformed into a new dusty and iron grey multifunctional sports floor at Barry Leisure Centre.

SSUK Pulastic Elite One 20 Eco Floor

Back in November 2020, Garston Lifestyles Fitness Centre was one of the first ground-breaking community testing centres to be rolled out across the city of Liverpool. Helping everyone who lived and works in Liverpool to go and get tested.
Following on from the testing centre, we were asked to supply and install a SSUK Pulastic multiuse floor, ensuring the fitness centre remained a safe space for the whole community to enjoy.
Our first job was to uplift the old floor down to the concrete base, followed by a base system and polyurethane top layer and court markings.
The leisure centre are thrilled with their new floor and cannot wait for the centre to reopen when it is safe to do so.
At Sports Surfaces Uk we appreciate day to day sport may not be taking place, but in many cases other life-saving activities are for example mass covid testing, mass covid vaccination, food distribution hubs and some have even been used for charities to organise presents for children’s at Christmas.
