A new SSUK Pulastic Classic 110 Indoor Sports Floor in Buckinghamshire

The Stoke Mandeville Stadium in Buckinghamshire recently upgraded its old sports floor to an award-winning SSUK Pulastic Classic 110 indoor sports floor.

Vinyl strip out, removing the old floor as quick as possible to minimise disruptions to the hall’s regular activities.

Preparing the base, to provide a solid foundation for longevity and performance – ready to install SSUK Pulastic Classic 110.

Rubber and EG Layer, to enhance shock absorption and provide a supportive surface. The combination of rubber and EG (elastic granules) ensures a resilient surface that can withstand the rigours of  sporting activities.

PU Layer, the installation process culminated in the application of the PU (Polyurethane) layer. This layer not only adds a smooth and seamless finish but also enhances the floor’s durability and resistance to wear and tear.

The project covered an expansive area of 32 x 16.57 meters, totalling 530.24 square meters. To complement the sports hall’s vibrant atmosphere, the color chosen was Steel Blue 306, adding a visually appealing element to the space but also contributes to a positive and energetic environment.

The Pulastic Classic 110 offers numerous benefits to sports facilities. Its shock-absorbing properties provide a comfortable surface for athletes, reducing the risk of injuries. The seamless installation creates a uniform playing surface, enhancing the overall aesthetics of the sports hall.
