An ageing timber sports floor needed a durable, high-performance replacement suitable for multi-sport use, including the growing demand for pickleball alongside traditional badminton play.

Our team carried out a complete floor renovation from start to finish:

• Removal and disposal of the existing timber floor
• Installation of a new SSUK Pulastic surface, delivering a resilient, high-performance playing surface built to last
• Court markings 6 in total, including Pickleball kitchen lines integrated within the 3 badminton courts, allowing the space to flex between sports
• Door thresholds supplied and installed for a clean, safe finish at all entry points
• Vented skirting supplied and installed around the perimeter, supporting proper airflow and a tidy edge finish

The venue now has a modern, multi-purpose sports surface that supports both badminton and pickleball . The new Pulastic floor offers consistent performance, improved durability, and a significantly refreshed look and feel for players and visitors alike, all while the added court markings make the space more versatile for a wider range of users and bookings.

As pickleball continues to grow in popularity across the UK, venues are increasingly looking to make their existing courts work harder without a full rebuild.
