This project involved transforming a small indoor sports studio that required a carefully considered flooring solution.

The original floor was uplifted and removed by the main contractor, revealing an existing acoustic layer beneath. After assessment, it was agreed that this layer should remain in place due to its beneficial properties.

Working around this, we installed the SSUK Pulastic Elite Comfort undercarriage system, incorporating foam and plywood for stability and shock absorption. This was then built up with a durable rubber and polyurethane system, finished with a high-performance painted top coat.

The result is a comfortable, resilient, and low-maintenance sports studio floor designed to withstand regular use whilst providing long-term performance for the client.
